   Aw, that’s so sad. Yet so beautiful and full of life. Thank you very much, Karl! The facial expressions on that bird are just wonderful, and really make me empathize with him.

   I’ve just found your comic and subscribed to your RSS feed. By the way, is there a story behind why you’re writing these, and do you have any future plans for this series? I tried clicking on the red “info” link, but it doesn’t seem to go anywhere.

   Animals can definitely get drunk on fermented berries. I saw a video of a drunk giraffe once — imagine a drunk person staggering around on stilts — poor guy….
