The two things I find most beautiful about this strip is
1) We see this hyperactive young friendly personality in this fox, and then almost out of the blue, we see a completely different vulnerable and adorable character when Townsen says the line "I don't know where they are." I think that sudden transition makes it so appealing because we can connect to how scared we were when we were young and had lost our mums or dads at a shop or somewhere.
2)We have come to know Charles as some kind of idiot, and yet despite this, as soon as Townsen reveals that he is scared and alone, Charles reveals another totally different side to him as he seems to sympathize with Townsen and takes it as his responsibility to look after him. The way that the last two panels go to each other without actually showing Charles picking Townsen up really adds class and makes this panel all the more sweeter.
This comic has so many qualities that make it so unique and better than other webcomics and this is just one example.
Big fan, cheers Karl.

I started reading this to kill time while waiting for a download to finish. It's been finished a while ago but I'm now hooked on reading this.
"When the yeti plugs in the pacifier, things are about to get hairy!"

This strip is some sort of artistic version of Zeno's dichotomy paradox; wherein I enjoy each strip almost immeasurably, but each proceeding one twice as much, creating an infinity impossibility...
Thank you for sharing your vision.

Ah well, sleep is over rated. And I love Travelling Companion more than the ones before it. :)
