This is a truly remarkable comic strip. Every page a read startles and surprises me in the best possible way. This strip is totally character driven. And there are a lot of characters. Amazing.

Another referral from PVP – I’m just totally blown away – and for an “old phart” – that’s kinda hard to do . Part of the being blown away is the agreement of the fellow commentators . This is one of those series where I say – ” I hope it never ends” .

This is really great work… I just got here from the PVP link which I hope will be a boon to this site, as it certainly deserves more traffic. This reminds me a lot of the movies of Hayao Miyazaki, especially My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke. There’s some hilarious moments, such as in #6, Sissi Skunk in #8, and perhaps my favorite one, #14 with the father and son watching Charles run amock.

I look forward to reading more soon!

Karl,..I would also love to hear or see how you draw a strip and what tools and steps you implement during this entire process. I always find this information so fascinating!! By all means maybe you can hook up with Kurtz and be a guest on his Web Comics Confidential Podcast!
How about a YouTube clip of your step by step!!! I know,..time is always a factor! Great work!
