for as long as I can remember, I have been against animal cruelty, circuses and zoos. I’ve only been satisfied with well-cared for animals in true-to-wildlife sanctuaries. it became so overwhelming for me, that i’d cry at the site of a caged or bound animal in anyway.
i’m so glad you incoorporated this into your strip. this just makes me love this story even further. i hope this comes out in book-form.
So, I came over here from PvP Online, and immediately fell in love with this story and the accompanying illustrations. Superbly done.
I just had to comment on how you captured the haunted look in Vivol’s eyes in that last panel. The amount of character you’ve put into these animals is nothing short of amazing, and you’ve got me hooked. Keep it up!
I found you through a link on PVP, and I’ve just read through what you’ve got so far. I am so in love with this artwork. The dialogue is always sharp and never misfires. The story is totally intriguing. And the last two strips have brought tears to my eyes. GOD SO BEAUTIFUL why can’t I be this talented
Hiya, another in a long line of PVP redirects here, and now unquestionably a reader of ACC. I think it’s sublime and eagerly look forward to the next update.
I also like your wood-pulp comic work, I picked up a copy of All Flash #1 and it was fab. Cheers for the great art. :)
I support modern zoos. They increase city-dwellers’ awareness of the diversity of wildlife and the need for habitat preservation. They have world-spanning breeding programs for endangered animals. They aid science in discovering new things. The best zoos have simulated habitats and no performances (besides sea lion feeding time). The next time you go to the zoo, round up your admission to the nearest ten dollars and refuse to accept your change. If you’re ever in Albuquerque, NM, come to the Rio Grande Zoo and see how it’s done right.
Circuses, on the other hand, turn my stomach. And besides the clowns (see what I did there?), they tend to mistreat their animals. One travelled through town, and one of their two elephants died from maltreatment. The city seized the other and gave it to the zoo, where it was nursed back to health.
BlueNight, only zoos in rich countries are like that, and only some of them. The zoos in this country are unpleasant. They were still using concrete boxes up to less than a decade ago.

It’s like Dumbo, except I don’t hate it.
This might actually go down as your Magnum Opus, above even Titans Year One.
