i personally love these little digressions from the main plot, its great logging on never knowing what your going to find in the next comic. That said i hope we get more vivol soon, starting to wonder what happened to the old guy
Karl, your work is consistently amazing. I dont think I’ve ever seen animals drawn in a natural setting that were able to express genuine emotions to me without being cartoonish. Every strip, wether a one shot like this one or part of the larger story you seem to be working on, is a delight to read!

How do birds get the guts to make that first jump…
Anyway, your comic is my pick for the ICA’s Be My Valentine – Webcomic Plug on eben07.com this 07 Day!

Heh, almost sounds like one of those travelling motivational speakers: “Today’s your day, I can feel it… and all that lucre lining my pockets…”
Beautifully drawn as always, tres expressive!

Lol, I love the last panel. “Oh God, you don’t even know how to count!!” That’s hilarious.

I like the angle you drew from in the first panel. Looking up and seeing the birds face from that position was a great birds eye view!

Brilliant!

Awesome, as usual. These birds have become my favourite characters. I love that the young bird is called Bertrand.

If all of this will ever get published in a book, I’m sure gonna try to get it. This is hilarious!
