A nice dark twist. I just wish you would have held back with the title. Now there is no suspense. But it certainly paints dire implications for Charles dangerous voyage. It would be as if Obi Wan had been Darth Vader in disguise! Nice take on the whole mythology. Reminds me a bit of Clark Ashton Smith’s work. (His writing not his sculptures.)

The lion isn’t of this earth unlike Moon Bear. It is from outside, from the darker spaces maybe between them maybe even from the Dark Hado.

Absolutely amazing. One of the greatest comic pages I have ever seen. The transformation of the lion really disturbed me but at the same time was almost appealing. Very reminiscent of Princess Monoke to me. This is a great strip and I’m really enjoying powering through it at the moment.
