¡El Abominable!

The translations keep on coming!

Victor Arguelles has been kind enough to start a Spanish translation of The Abominable Charles Christopher, making the strip even more accessible to people around the world.
All of these translations are done for free by readers who want to share their experience of the comic, and I’m honored by their efforts. Thanks everyone, for being a part of this.

If you’d like to contribute to more translations, let me know, and I’ll give you the font information, banner graphics, etc. that you’ll need to get started.

I was thinking about showing this spanish version to my friends, but I think I’ll wait till you sort them in a more webcomic like format. It’s hard to keep reading the next one without a next button.

YAY! I offer my own comic in English(original) and Spanish, and my Spanish links list is so short that I added Calvin y Hobbes and Dilbert to bulk it out, even though everybody already knows about them. I’ve now added El Abominable Charles Christopher to the list. My Spanish comics only get about 4 visitors a month, so you(and Victor) probably won’t see me in the top referrers, but I’m very happy to add this to that list. My English comics get about 20 visitors a day, in comparison.
(I envy Victor. My own comics don’t have as many wordless strips to translate. However, Townsen’s lines will make up for that.)

    Gracias!! :)

Yeah, I’ve got this problem that the free wordpress.com blogs don’t get that many options. So I set up that one as a temporary thing. Once I get my site running, I’ll make a wordpress installation where I’ll be able to make it easier to navigate through the comic. Also, there aren’t that many strips translated yet, I’ve got about ten ready, but I’m posting them one every day so there’s some regularity (at least until I catch up with the newest strips).

Huh. My Finnish is a bit rusty, but it might be interesting to give “Inhovatta Kaarlo Kristofer” a shot :)

Agh, just goes to show: it’s inhottava, not inhovatta.

A Finnish translation is coming very soon and title will be “Hirveä Charles Christopher”. Kaarlo is nice name but I prefer original one.

Ah, neat! I’m looking forward to it.
