Awesome comic, loving it as always. Another comment caught my eye:
Your argument, Shagbark, is based on your assumption that the bird physically
snatched the fox out of charles’ arms. From charles’ puzzled expression in the last panel, its obvious that there was no struggle or fight; for which he had already braced himself for in his previous panel. Something mystical happened. (abracadabra! Feathers!!)

I love the comic!

As a whole. But this one strip isn’t believable. Just, physically… the bird couldn’t snatch him away suddenly. The geometry doesn’t work.

….Is it just me, or have some of the comments to this webcomic reached the point of delirium?

Anyway. The little fox’s alleged death was rather interesting. And why did the hunter apparently disappear? Interesting!
However, I am a bit confused about the mystical bird. I have confidence it will all make sense in later episodes.
(Also, it seems I’m the only one here who hopes the cute foxy is dead? I’m starting to wonder wether it’s my fault for not getting that much emotionally involved in the story, or if it’s just my narrative sense who keeps telling me it wants to see originality.)

Why the gray/green tones? I admit it is cool and different, sort of a sepia effect. Just wondered, is there a reason behind it other than it looks so darned good?

wow. I just came agcross your work today thanks to a long line of links that got me to your cameo sketches, I think originating at Anders loves Maria….

Amazing art, and interesting story telling with a silent main character. What a tough time to come into the story though!!
