Moral Compass
Sorry this one is up so late today – I’ve been juggling a hundred things, including getting out all of the Abominable Shirt orders! Thanks so much to everyone who ordered one (or many). You should be receiving them any time in the next couple of weeks. Hope you all like them; I’m very happy with the way they turned out! Pictures soon…
Alas, my day is not yet over and I must dash. See you all next week!

Told you you could do it ! Awesome strip !

As always, a beautiful strip. :) I really look forward to the future of Charles Christopher. :D

Beautiful and moving, as always! Even without any dialogue (or, I think, because of it). Your illustrations are all you need to tell this story.
I was feeling a sort of sad acceptance as my first reaction was that Charles is saying goodbye to Townsen, but my brother is of the opinion that Charles is merely picking up Townsen’s trail and preparing to follow. The feathers are in the sky (looks like maybe Townsen finally met the Wind!) but perhaps Charles can follow this way? http://www.abominable.cc/2007/10/24/18/

Wow, at first I thought those were leaves but they’re FEATHERS.
Amazing.

Maybe now he can’t be afraid of what he has to do because Townsen is on the line. Maybe now he sees the wind for what it really is too.
For sure, I adore this story. Thank you.

Nah, no problem, man, that is an awesome page.

There’s either a lot of symbolism in this strip…or it’s simply CC having a fun, pointless time. Either way works for me. <3

Love the last panel. Hope he can find Townsen. :(
December 4th, 2008 at 3:13 am
Wow once again. :o
The second to last panel just had me stop for a few minutes and look at all the pictures. Doesn’t say much, but manages to say so much. Again, I marvel at your genious at this. ^^

December 4th, 2008 at 1:47 pm
Moral Compass huh?
The label says much. I will not.

Wow. Happy and sad and mystical and mysterious all at the same time. Beautiful stuff. I like CC’s expression…on one level it’s just pleasure at how the feathers dance in the sky…the other, perhaps a sweet ‘farewell’ to Townsen? Or as some have said, perhaps the look of “aha, now I know where to look next!” Whatever it is, it’s awesome.

The last panel is beautiful!
CC’s wonderment as the feathers go past, too. :)

I like this comic.
Yet all the same, I hope we’ll see Charles go back to acting goofy again soon. He just hasn’t been the same since Townsen left.

Know when to cut your losses, people. Townsen has long since been hooked on uncut Chinese junk, and is likely doing fox porn to support the cost.

Love it :) And i got my t-shirt yesterday in the mail :D Woohoo thanks Karl
December 8th, 2008 at 8:53 pm

HYPOTHESIS: Charles is throwing the feathers in the air to find where the wind goes, and by extent, Townsend.
