Good to see TACC again – back on the hunt .His desire to collect all those feathers may pay dividends . And those two tricksters are so well done . Kudos on the early post Karl – hope you had a good New Years .
Eeeee! TACC is back! Could it be that this little prank may infact help Charles find the right path? Could it be that I may be wrong? Or perhaps right? Oh God! I just don’t know or care! TACC is back! :D
I stopped collecting in the late 90s, when it became more about diecut, holographic, lenticular quills, then about the feathers.
Oh I get a TPB(Trade Plumage Bunches), now and agian, that collects many of the feathers that still interest me.
Collecting one molt at a time? That bird has flown.
oh my… i had to laugh out loud…even though it’s sad.
i read every wednesday and i’ve passed the strip on to my friends – the ones that are into reading anyway.
I want to be the very best like no one ever was.
To catch em is my test, to collect em is my cause.
I will travel across the land, searching far and wide.
Each feather to understand the power that’s inside.
FEATHERMON!
Gotta catch em aaaalllllllllll!
They are indeed a couple of rascals, but their expressions are priceless. And poor CC, chasing off after the feathers. However I have a feeling that this is just one more leg of CC’s journey of discovery…

Right now I’m limiting myself to one update a week because I’ve got a couple of projects for DC that I’m working on, which should be wrapped up by summer. After that, I’ll think about maybe increasing the frequency of TACC strips. I’d really like to.
At some point, I’m going to have to assess the financial side of this. A book will be forthcoming, but whether or not its sales will support me is another story, and I suspect that I’ll still have to take freelance work to keep paying the bills.
I will never charge for the online comic, and I’m revolted by the thought of putting ads on the page. So I’ll have to come up with other ideas if I want this to be my primary focus.
Which I do.
I really wouldn’t mind a few adds at the bottom, or even under the links to other comics on the side. Unless of course, YOU don’t like having them because they are ugly.
Yeah, I wouldn’t mind ads either. Not if they’re Google ads, which are very unintrusive.
Regarding having “a couple of other projects” – to be honest… it may well be my imagination, but I’ve gotten the sense that you’re distracted by other things, or more distracted than you were in the past, anyway. I can’t say what gives me that impression. Perhaps a subtle shift in tone.
Another webcomic sight that I visit has lamented about being paid for ads placed on the site. Some never pay, some pay irregularly. His bills have caused him to include contract work for image requests.

Bravo, yet again. I honestly treasure this strip, and cannot wait until I can own a hardbound copy on my book case.

Surprising the things that make sense when awakened suddenly from a deep sleep.

Fantastic! I love the weasel’s smug look in the last panel.
January 9th, 2009 at 12:30 am
Hypothetically speaking, Karl, if you release an ACC book and it is successful, could you use that financial security to update more than once a week?
January 9th, 2009 at 12:51 am
Oh, poor, easily led Charles. This made me laugh, because I’ve felt as though I’ve been in his shoes before.
January 9th, 2009 at 10:46 am
I knew these two weasels in Junior High School. I was a gullible kid.
January 9th, 2009 at 2:43 pm
Gerald: you might have been in his shoes, but a ferret’s stolen his socks.
January 9th, 2009 at 5:47 pm
That’s amusing.. however at the same time, if he hadn’t tricked Charles into chasing them his adventure could have been over! What now I wonder….hm….
