I love this! It made me laugh out loud and as I was laughing I noticed that I was not thinking. I had achieved a quiet mind, however so brief. You are a true Master at your craft and you are greatly appreciated. Laughter gives us a brief glimpse into a quiet mind and we need more of that. You are truly gifted. Keep up the great work!

You know I think I actually prefer the second version of this strip, the first time I didn’t get it, it wasn’t until you changed it that I finally clued in to what was going on.

Either way wonderful work, I’m waiting patiently for today’s update =)

Haha, reading this one a bit late, but oh well…

I LOVE the ]ook that the racoon gives the other one – and probably himself – in the fourth panel. And the fifth panel is just TOO adorable for words. I understand the problem with the space constraints, but I agree. Another panel 4 would have made it even better. But, awesome all the same!

I think that generally, Karl, your initial instincts are the correct ones. In every case so far where you’ve changed a strip after posting it up, I’ve preferred the original version.

In this case, I think that the little wave that you had initially might have made it clearer that the other raccoon was spaced out, and it added some more absurdity to the situation.

NOOOOO!!! I spent the last few hours here at work today reading and contemplating every aspect I can possibly view/determine/comprehend of your truely VIVACIOUS artwork… and I didn’t see a *Next* button at the bottom of the comic strip ;_;
I found myself laughing hysterically, near-to-tears with consternation and genuine worry, and grinning like a idiot all by my lonesome in my office, all within a few hours. One of my direct reports told me about this strip this morning and I have not gotten one thing I needed to done today (Probably much to all their delight).

DAMN YOU KARL!@ But excellent, excellent artwork, Sir. The breadth of not only your artistic talent, but your storytelling with the illustrated medium is nothing short of prodigious. You’ve got me from the moment I laid eyes on your wonderful creations. My kindest regards, and please don’t ever stop!

Huh. You know, I just checked out this week’s strip, and I actually didn’t catch the joke immediately. It wasn’t until I read through the comments that I caught what was going on. This made me go back and look at the strip again, read through a few more comments, look at the strip again, read through a few more comments and think, “That’s really odd. I’m not used to seeing an ACC strip that I have to try to find feel of. I guess it’s just me, though. Other peoeple seem to have gotten it just fine.” Then I read more and found out it had been changed from its original form. This makes me really wish I’d seen the strip in its original incarnation because imagining the strip with the wave makes me think I would have gotten it off the bat.
