I love the therapist cartoons (maybe because I teach psych)! I’m definitely forwarding this to my social work colleague. Thanks so much for making me laugh!
I want to add that one of the reasons I love this strip is because I’m always surprised – every week a different truth about humanity is illustrated on the page. So all of the people looking for plot are missing the bigger picture as it unfolds in moments like today. This is what makes up the real ‘plot’ of life, if you ask me. I hope you keep drawing what feels right Karl because there are lots of us out on this side of your page who appreciate you drawing them out.
I confess to going 0_0 at the thought of “two thousand angry roaches” dropping from the sky. I ran screaming when I found one roach hanging out in my sink. *shudder* Perhaps I too am gullible? Heheheh…
But the capper on this one is “WHAT?! For real?!” I don’t know if the bird is horrified or impressed. “Naawww, get out! Seriously??” XD
I’ve recently just found this site. Read the archive thus far. This comic is heart warming, comical, and at times full of a certian sadness I cannot explain openly.
…fantastic artwork… I love it!… I must say that the father bird that is always in trouble with the wife is my most favourite character… I seem to see so much of me in him!…cheers…
That is hilarious. I used to play a joke in High School on the Freshman in our auditorium and tell them that ‘Gullible’ was written on the ceiling. Almost every time they would look up.

Roach therapist is fantastic. And I’m thankful for the levity after last week’s heavy strip.
March 25th, 2009 at 6:11 pm
lmao I love how he acts so big but he isn’t. XD Wonderful as always, Karl, and I love the roach, even if we’ve only seen him a few times.

Love the therapist!
March 25th, 2009 at 6:19 pm
Oi! So that’s what my therapist is doing during our sessions. Hehe! I like the bird’s swoosh up to the trees.

In my opinion, ALL therapists need to tell their patients that, haha.
Great strip as always! :]

Karl,
I discovered you via TTYO, but I’m so glad I came across this site. Brilliant stuff!

That bird is so well drawn.
Nice panel.

Contrary to popular belief, most degree programs discourage telling your patients that they will be torn apart by angry roaches.
March 26th, 2009 at 4:28 pm
I’m glad the subject is extremely gullible. The loss of the roach therapist would be very sad indeed.
March 26th, 2009 at 4:59 pm
I concur with I-hate-socks. IMUH these are the best parts of the comic.
And I love the bird. Top character for me.

FINALLY read them all. Now to sit and eat my finger nails while I wait for the next strip. *misses Townsen*
Updates on a Wednesday huh? Well, that somewhat fills the gap between the comics I read that update on Monday and Thursday.
And still totally making a collage wallpaper of all the cutest panels XD
March 28th, 2009 at 10:39 am
brilliant as always
March 28th, 2009 at 6:00 pm
