PS: the artwork in this strip reminds me of Japanese wood block prints… the first frame looks very much like a traditional Japanese rendition of a fox. Except he’s praying to the goddess Nomnomnom instead of Inari.
this is beautiful! i love the ermine (though the first panel reminds me of the fox in “The Dream Hunters” that Yoshitaka Amano illustrates). Well done!
A friend of mine was sprayed by a skunk on his way home for Christmas. It climbed into his car when he was doing an engine check. Tee hee. The tear in panel 3 summed the whole thing up for all of us that day lol…
I just wrote an entry on web comics on my blog, and included a link to yours (and a few others) so my fifteen followers (and many more random perusers) might find your amazing strip! Hopefully, some of them will enjoy your work as much as I do.
YES! I finally caught up on all your ACC comics! And I hate reading webcomics, too tedious, but your art is so stunning and beautiful…and your plot is so interesting…I had to read it all <3 Question: Do you have this in stores? ;D
“Ermine are carnivores that hunt primarily at night. They are specialist predators on small, warm-blooded vertebrates, preferably mammals of rabbit size and smaller. When mammalian prey is scarce, ermine eat birds, eggs, frogs, FISH, and insects.”

Ermine! Three cheers!
Also known as the stoat.
You know the difference between a stoat and a weasel?
Well a weasel is weasilly distinguished.
Because a stoat is stoatally different.

Guess that skunk left a lasting impression, heh. Nice that Charles could share it with someone!
Think he needs a tomato juice bath.

There’s a dead fish in the first panel that didn’t put him off his feed, but the reek of Charles got him. Beautifully drawn Karl. I love your work.

Basically, he’s a nom-nom-nomnivore.

A little bit of a late comment, but I think this poor guy is one of the animals killed in the most recent strip. :(
