Panic Attack

44 Abominable Comments!

  1. Wellington Srbek

    Things have changed here…

  2. John Armstrong

It’s a sort of minimalist turn for a webcomic to take.

  3. Robin William Scott

So awesome … I love the therapist roach … and I’m so pleased this is back up.

  4. noah

    Therapist Roach!

  5. Tigerlady

Yay, the roach! That poor groundhog… Thanks for the holiday comic, Karl! ^^ And just in case you haven’t seen it on the facebook page. I got my shirt the other day, and I love it! I’m gonna be a walking advertisement for you. =D

  6. I don't mean to be a dick but...

There’s a typo in the last panel. And so I don’t sound too negative, your webcomic is my favourite webcomic!

Thanks, everyone! I’ll fix the typo when I get into the studio.

i get more worked up about those kind of things than that chipmunk, unfortunately

The Therpaist Roach has to be one of the greatest characters ever.

  13. Buho

Therapist Roach? Therapist Arthropod? Therapod? Wait, no.

  14. Adam Casalino

Looks like you got the site back up quickly. Kudos!

  15. Cesare

That chipmunk has got to grow a spine or something! Love the Roach!

  16. Cesare

    . . . . though I recognize that state of mind all too well . .. . .

  17. RuntyTiger

I concur with Cesare, anxiety will lead to physical symptoms, therefore leading to more anxiety, therefore will cause a positive feed back.

    LoL at the poor groundhog/marmot.

  18. Random

  32. Argent Stonecutter

Is this squirrel someone we’ve seen before? I’ve lost track.

  33. ketsuo

    that’s one paranoid squirrel

  34. Argent Stonecutter

    Chipmunk! I mean chipmunk!

  35. kisara

Follower from the beginning, first time commenter. I just wanted to say how much I love your comics and that I’m looking forward to snagging me a copy of one of your prints — I’m having trouble deciding which one! (My favorites involve Townsen &co and MoonBear.)

Regarding this comic, did anyone else imagine the chipmunk voiced by Mel Blanc?

    I heart you, Therapist Roach!

  36. Darkcrystal

lol I love the therapist and how he’s so calm next to the panicking chipmunk. He feels like one of those poker face therapist that doesn’t bat an eye at you freaking out in front of him which makes it even more awesome!

  37. Argent Stonecutter

They could ALL be voiced by Mel Blanc. That’s why he was awesome.

  38. Rob T

The tail is not bushy enough for a squirrel. Looks like a chipmunk to me. Could it be a groundhog? Punxatawney Phil is that you?

  39. Kodan

He needs to remove these from the main strip and make this a mini-series of it’s own! Therapist roach rules!

  40. Ruby

lol Is the therapist even listening to him?

  41. minetruly

Charles Manson said, “Total awareness is total paranoia.”

I disagree. While the conclusion of total awareness is that you could die at any moment, this should not come with fear, but with the calm realization that, since you can do nothing to escape death, you should relax and accept it. Death will come, it will be natural, and there is no need to be afraid. Manson and the chipmunk’s problem is that they hadn’t made the final step to realize that since death is inevitable, it’s pointless to fear it or try to escape.

  42. Aldarad

I came, I saw, I added it to my weekly reads.
    Nice strip!

  43. Reboelje

    “Do you realize the danger?”
The therapist roach is very calm and composed, even though there could be a hungry bird just behind him.
