Yay, the roach! That poor groundhog… Thanks for the holiday comic, Karl! ^^ And just in case you haven’t seen it on the facebook page. I got my shirt the other day, and I love it! I’m gonna be a walking advertisement for you. =D
Follower from the beginning, first time commenter. I just wanted to say how much I love your comics and that I’m looking forward to snagging me a copy of one of your prints — I’m having trouble deciding which one! (My favorites involve Townsen &co and MoonBear.)
Regarding this comic, did anyone else imagine the chipmunk voiced by Mel Blanc?
lol I love the therapist and how he’s so calm next to the panicking chipmunk. He feels like one of those poker face therapist that doesn’t bat an eye at you freaking out in front of him which makes it even more awesome!
Charles Manson said, “Total awareness is total paranoia.”
I disagree. While the conclusion of total awareness is that you could die at any moment, this should not come with fear, but with the calm realization that, since you can do nothing to escape death, you should relax and accept it. Death will come, it will be natural, and there is no need to be afraid. Manson and the chipmunk’s problem is that they hadn’t made the final step to realize that since death is inevitable, it’s pointless to fear it or try to escape.

Things have changed here…
February 3rd, 2010 at 11:31 am
It’s a sort of minimalist turn for a webcomic to take.
February 3rd, 2010 at 11:38 am

There’s a typo in the last panel. And so I don’t sound too negative, your webcomic is my favourite webcomic!
February 3rd, 2010 at 12:01 pm
AWESOME! I love the therapist roach!
February 3rd, 2010 at 12:12 pm
Thanks, everyone! I’ll fix the typo when I get into the studio.

I concur with Cesare, anxiety will lead to physical symptoms, therefore leading to more anxiety, therefore will cause a positive feed back.
LoL at the poor groundhog/marmot.
February 3rd, 2010 at 3:11 pm

February 5th, 2010 at 5:23 am
They could ALL be voiced by Mel Blanc. That’s why he was awesome.
February 5th, 2010 at 5:32 am
The tail is not bushy enough for a squirrel. Looks like a chipmunk to me. Could it be a groundhog? Punxatawney Phil is that you?
February 6th, 2010 at 1:13 pm
He needs to remove these from the main strip and make this a mini-series of it’s own! Therapist roach rules!
February 7th, 2010 at 2:27 am
lol Is the therapist even listening to him?
February 7th, 2010 at 9:37 pm

I came, I saw, I added it to my weekly reads.
Nice strip!
February 12th, 2010 at 6:13 pm
“Do you realize the danger?”
The therapist roach is very calm and composed, even though there could be a hungry bird just behind him.
