Yay! Finally, some use out of studying Romeo and Juliet. Well, other than expanding the mind, supposedly…
Poor rabbit! She’s not worth his attentions, say I! Evil temptress…
Will strike three break his little heart? O.o
The new archive feature is interesting … I just searched for Rabbit … I want to read the first in this ‘arc’ (that was the one that Karl actually edited based on our comments suggesting it was confusing right?) … but I guess that strip isn’t tagged yet.
The others that are are interesting though … do we think this is the same rabbit that Charles saved from the trap?
That’s a female rabbit, so she SHOULD be doing Roxanne’s lines. Notice the blush on her cheeks & the prominent eyelashes. Plus, in the “Strike One” comic, the female rabbits all have the poofy fur on their chests, unlike the male; the rabbit in this strip has said poofy fur. That’s probably her would-be suitor hiding in the shadows.
I have just discovered this comic… i have never seen or read anything like it.. Like Wolfgang here, It has made me laugh, and cry. Ive never been so impacted by a comic.. pure genius! Thank you.
Karl … You draw startled possibly terrified bunnies so very well…were you scarred by the animation of Watership Down as a kid? ;) (I know I was, but I still can’t draw lol).

Somewhere skunks are playing, and somewhere foxes shout. But there is no joy in Cedar Forest, our gallant hare has struck out.

@Volrath
I believe that would be Cyrano de Bergerac, by Edmond Rostand.
@Kobble
Good guess, though. I can just see Mercutio rambling this.

@Karl – once again an awesome representation of life. Thank you for all that you have done with CC and in advance for all that is to come.
@Secundus – Very nice! Any plans to do the preceeding lines? It would be cool.

February 24th, 2010 at 10:48 am
He’s quoting Roxanes lines? … Shouldn’t he be quoting Cyrano?
I think the future looks bright for this rabbits love life, spying on him like that …

That is a true story.
