Beautiful! I love that it looks like it could be a collage, a painting, something made of wood, or any number of other materials. It makes me want to see the original piece so I can feel the texture of it in real life.

@Andrea V - I'm pretty much out of the first Abominable shirt, with the exception of a few sizes. I might do another run of them in the future if there's enough demand, but for now I'm going to focus on new designs.

I could see it on a grey T shirt the color of the background of the print, with the actual art in the bottom front left hand corner reaching up the left side of the shirt to the left sleeve. I think that would be awesome!

i’d really love that print. i suppose it would make for nice clothing, but seriously, much nicer as art.

Problem with this design on a shirt is… well, there are a couple of problems.
First, it’s a lot of colours. I narrowed it down to a 6-colour screen in the original design (there were no textures or background). That’s getting expensive to print.
Second, with that many colours and very little negative space, it’s a LOT of ink. The shirt would feel stiff and heavy and uncomfortable.
Third, the vertical design is less effective on a women’s shirt because it doesn’t sit well over the breast.
Fourth… well, I just felt like I wouldn’t wear it. And that was enough for me to go back to the drawing board on shirt #2.

I’ve got some ideas, though, so you should be seeing something soon!
