Head Office
I’m gearing up for TCAF this weekend, where I’ll be debuting the Abominable Charles Christopher Book!
If you live in the Toronto area, come by the show to say hi, check out the books and prints and see what the rest of the TX Crew have available. It’s going to be well-attended by webcomickers and top-tier publishers and will be, if the last few years have been any indication, one of the coolest shows of the year.
See you there!

And he came to the dragon’s den all by himself…

Buuuusted.

“Come with us please, sir” kinda sounded strange to “Please come with us, sir”. At least the large skunks are polite?
May 5th, 2010 at 5:14 pm
This is the “diminutive sir”, kind of like the “ironic friend” in the mouth of a mugger.
May 5th, 2010 at 5:30 pm
Oh me oh my … there may be trouble ahead … I love how the two ‘heavies’ have slicked down hair instead of the spiked up hair that all the other skunks have.
May 5th, 2010 at 6:21 pm
The sap-cakes are merely a front for the skunk mafia…
May 5th, 2010 at 6:54 pm
oh boy! well he said it wasn’t over! where are those wolves when you need them.
I love how you do your speech bubbles, Karl. They’re so unique and organic!

Ahh, I love a bodyguard skunk in uniform…. <3

I smell something rotten afoot!
/end bad skunk pun

That don’t take anyone busting her balls OH!
May 6th, 2010 at 3:04 am
Don’t think I’d want to mess with those skunks…
Love Anson’s expression in the fourth panel, though. Surprise, anxiety, and wariness all wrapped up. Very nice.

Wiseguy skunks, who’d-a known?

I usually don’t root for salesmen but I have a bad feeling about this. Sissi’s not above strong arm tactics.

I came across ACC today by following a link from PVPonline. And I was, indeed am still, mindblown. Your work is an inspiration Mr Kerschl.
Now the next time someone tells me that comics are for kids, I’m going to shove this website in their face and bask in the moment of victory.

all the best for the debut of the Abominable Charles Christopher Book in TO!
May 6th, 2010 at 7:27 pm
Is this the poor fellow who had his entire sap-cake supply eaten by CC? It looks like Sissi’s going to take it out of HIS pelt, regardless of the actual circumstances. How very…
Never mind, I’m not going to finish that particular sentence.
May 6th, 2010 at 8:06 pm
Found you thanks to PVP. Your art and writing are brilliant! I’m passing the linkage around to as many people as I can.
May 6th, 2010 at 9:35 pm
I’ll be at TCAF this weekend, wandering around looking for the TX booth… and your book!
May 6th, 2010 at 10:09 pm
See you there my friend. Make sure you have a book on hand for me!
May 6th, 2010 at 11:50 pm
OHMYGOSH. Who is Sissy? Does she even exist? I wonder if she’ll actually be something completely not a skunk.
I hope to see you at TCaf! Cool.

Just discovered this Today, buying the book
Thank You and keep up the hard work.

But, they were free samples…
May 7th, 2010 at 5:48 pm
Somehow, I’m picturing Sissi as the equivalent of a queen bee (or ant). I’m picturing a morbidly obese, regal skunk.

Found your comic thru PvPOnline. I’m in love… went back and read it all from the beginning… wishing there was more!
Beautiful work…stunning and well written. Bravo!

Somehow I missed this one. Now Luga doesn’t sound so paranoid. Hmm.
