The book — which belongs to Miriam — arrived to Rio de Janeiro last week, with a lovely sketch of a sorrowful Townsen. The waiting was long, but ended very well! :-)

I just received my signed copy. There are no words to describe its beauty. It's flawless and well worth the wait. I need to get to work, but it's quite impossible with that glowing collection of wonderfulness on my desk. You are an amazingly talented man. Fond greetings from Holland.

I was going to ask the same question Sarita did -- I noticed you are using what I'm guessing is a brush pen?

I am a recent fan of your site (thanks to Scott Kurtz) and fellow Canadian. I have fallen in love with your characters and your art. A shame I missed out on the Master Edition -- but maybe sometime down the road I'll make it out to a convention and can at least get your signature.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for the drawing I got in my copy of the book. You set yourself up for a hell of a task to fulfill, spending 20(?) minutes times about 400 hundred book copies. But it's inspiring to see someone actually complete such a massive project. It was exciting to find out what chance would decide my picture would be. The drawing I got was of my favorite carefree raccoon. There is a lot of love in that book and I'm so glad I got it. Keep truckin' Karl. I love your characters, and your storytelling. You're a big inspiration to me for my own storytelling. Cheers.

Hey - I just got my master edition in the mail yesterday, and it was really, really, really worth the wait! It was also really special to sit down and share this story with my wife, who was reading it for the first time. And the cherry on top was that my illustration is of Townsen! Thanks for doing this strip every week, it's amazing what you've created.
