Megalomaniacal
German Wire-Haired Pointers never lie.
Or exaggerate.
In Book News: I drew in a LOT of Master Editions this past weekend, so a bunch of you will be receiving your copies very soon. Closing the gap!
And if you’re looking to buy a copy of the Abominable book in a local brick & mortar shop, here’s a list of retailers who have it in stock. If it’s not available in your area and you’d like it to be, tell your favourite store to contact me!

wise words from a wise dog.

But…does that mean Townsen will go unavenged?
I think the dog is the voice of common sense, but the mysterious brotherhood that’s herding Charles along might prove to be the stronger force.

neva!

C’mon, Charles! You can take ‘em!
Charles has had warnings before of his attempts to find justice being “très dangereux” … why should he stop now?
August 25th, 2010 at 2:31 pm
Yay! That means I’m a LOT closer to receiving my Master Edition!

Or as Corporal Carrot said, “It’s personal but it’s not important.”

I think the dog speaks from experience. I bet he lost his leg from one of the things in Charles’ hands.

You can’t let it go Charles… remember Townsen.

What a conundrum!
August 25th, 2010 at 6:28 pm
Its impossible to give up, Charles. Remember Towsen.

Don’t go looking for vengeance, Charles! Remember what you came for!
I *really* like that dog. One of the big draws I have to this comic, is the animal charachters remind me so much of animal friends I have known. Just wish those friends back then could talk to me as clearly as these charachters do to Charles.

Never give up! Never surrender! I don’t remember where I heard that…

megalomaniacal is such a GREAT $10 word!
August 25th, 2010 at 9:21 pm
Mwahaha I love it, it’s the trap that brought Charles, so he should do as the dog says, let it go…let it go right where the prince will step into in and snap his lil ankle

Karl, that is some serious hardcore sketching! I’m getting stoked, all that much closer till my book ships! Thanks for creating weekly beautiful work.

Now I have Let It Be stuck in my head. Thanks, Karl.

That’s a short list of retailers that TX loves. Just another sign that brick & mortar comic book shops are going the way of the dodo. If they don’t carry fine books like ACC, what are they worth?

Loved the pause after `megalomaniacal’ This word is the best.

@Buho – The truth is, unless I do a lot of legwork, most retailers won’t carry this book, either because they don’t know about it or because it’s not listed in Diamond’s Previews catalog. Right now, all of the shops that are carrying it are doing so because they emailed me and asked for it specifically, which is awesome.
I’d love to get it into more shops eventually, though. Just have to figure out a distribution model!

Just recently got turned to this comic by a friend, a wonderful mix of humor, wisdom, and just darn cute. An excellent read Karl!

Let it go charles! For god’s sake let it go! Never mess with a monarch/maniac of megalomaniacal standard! Run and never look back! Bring the dog!

I dreamt about Townsen last night. He was running down a hill with a young boy towards me and my 4 year old cousin. I’d never really been a big fan of Townsen – my cousin is at an attention seeking stage. He was bouncing around happily, I introduced him to my cousin, realised that I must be dreaming because Townsen’s dead – and remembered the reason I was visiting the cousin. I’m hoping the young boy was my uncle
