Breakfast Call
Lots of great feedback on last week’s episode, including some good guesses as to who the guy in the cave is. We’ll get back to him later. For now, it’s nice to draw Charles again. I hope he’s been getting more sleep than I have.

Gil gets more winsome with every subsequent strip (though I think that applies to the majority of your characters so far). Poor Charles looks so drowzy in the last two panels, it’s a good thing he has a way with kids or else I’d pity him for his company (though I do quite love Gilgamesh). I should have noticed this before now, especially after that colouring page but Gil has some very dandy boots.

I finally caught up with this today after neglecting to check on it for more than a year. It’s incredible how time goes by, isn’t it? I had nearly forgotten how much I love this strip and how emotional it gets me. xD
I’m still hoping for Townsen’s return. When he left the strip I was so heartbroken.
