Hi, everyone! I’m back from San Diego and hustling to fulfill book orders again. Thankfully, my travels are over until September, at least.
 
Comic-Con was fun, but it would have been nice to have a table there, if only to meet those of you who attended. I ran into some readers on the show floor, purely by happenstance, but I hope to have more of a presence there next year. Until then, you’ll definitely be able to find me at the New York show in October!

I’m off to San Diego this week! If you’re going to be at the show, check out the blog post below for details on where I’ll be. Hopefully I’ll get to see some of you there. And don’t be shy about saying hello!

I’m back from Russia!!
Back at my desk, still drawing in Master Editions, and gearing up for the San Diego Comicon, where I’ll be wandering around the show floor and participating in a couple of panels.
 
Speaking of the book, I’ve gotten lots of emails from people who have received them, and it seems like they’re taking quite a while to ship overseas, so if you’ve gotten a shipping notification but your book hasn’t arrived yet, hang tight! It should show up soon!
And incidentally, there are a few stores – like this one in Norway – that have them stocked. So if you want to avoid the shipping costs and the long wait, maybe you can pick one up locally.
If you’d like your local store to carry the Abominable Book, tell them to contact us and we’ll do our best to hook them up!

BOOK UPDATE: I’m making progress on orders of the Master Editions, so THANK YOU ALL for your patience. A lot of them have shipped and I’m working hard to catch up to demand. Unfortunately, the backlog of book sketches has forced me to put the Master Editions on hold for a little while. If you’d like to order a book, the Regular Edition is still available and will ship QUICKLY (like, the same day you order it, probably).
So, I apologize if you were holding out for a book sketch, but I already feel guilty about making people wait so long, and I need to finish the existing orders. The Master Edition will go back on sale as soon as things cool down.

I wrote and drew this strip yesterday, but I didn’t really understand what it meant until this morning.
That’s the way I try to work: go with what feels right in my gut and try not to worry that it doesn’t make sense in my head, because eventually, somewhere down the road, it will.
 
Of course, that didn’t stop me from stressing about it all night.

I was going to do a strip featuring Charles, but this one just popped out unexpectedly and I thought it was funny. That’s the way it happens sometimes. Back to our hero next week!
 
BOOK NEWS: The books are shipping! The first batch went out last week, and more are going out all the time. If you ordered the regular edition, you’ll likely have it in your hands very soon. The sketch editions are running later because there are a LOT of them, and I’m trying to give each one the love it deserves. So, apologies for the delay on those.
And for those of you who are asking, the books are still available to purchase, either unsigned, or signed and sketched. The Pre-Orders (which included bonus prints) ended, but the books are very much still available!
