You’re probably thinking: this is another fairly amusing animal comic, but where is the title character? Where’s the story??
I just want to let you know that he’ll be returning soon. I have a lot of other work I’m in the middle of and I haven’t had as much time as I’d like to sit and think about the next arc of the story (the specifics of it, anyway, like how it should actually begin). So rather than jump in unprepared, I’m doing weekly stand-alone strips until I feel comfortable with the direction I want to take.
It could be another few weeks until Charles and Gilgamesh reappear, but there’ll still be a new comic here every Wednesday, so sit tight and imagine that they’re wandering through the woods somewhere on their way to the mountain. Easy, right?
